As part of a business venture and part creative outlet, my wife Libby and I launched a business we're calling the BL Product Studio. Over time, it'll be home to a number of fun items that you can wear or make use of; they certainly make for great gift ideas! (As of this writing, Christmas 2023 is just a month away!)

This came about in part based on my own itchy design finger, so to speak, having made a doofy little kitchen apron several years ago and put it up on CafePress, just for my own satisfaction. Several years passed, and in 2013 it got featured in a Buzzfeed listicle entitled "16 Hilarious Aprons For Courageous Cooks" which was neat, but didn't really translate into sales.

That said, being locked onto CafePress was tough and didn't do a lot for me being able to market my designs. Having made some other shirts and things in the ensuing years for friends and family, we thought it might be fun to bring back the old apron, and try out some new designs as well.
